Ongoing Programs
- General Fund– directs funds to the areas where they are most needed
- Thom Wert Fund- in honor of Columbia’s former Chaplain and Director of Life Enrichment (1996- 2017); supports pastoral care and life enrichment programs which play a key role in residents’ quality of life
- Employee Recognition Fund– rewards staff members’ contributions to high standards of care and provides opportunities for continuing education

Memorial and Honorarium Gifts
A gift given in honor or memory of a loved one lives on to benefit others. Pay tribute and honor someone special or commemorate an important milestone. Upon receipt of your gift, we will send a personalized tribute card to the Honoree or family so they know about your gift. A donation amount will not be listed but you will receive a receipt for the amount of your gift.
Planned Giving
Continue the tradition. The Legacy Fund offers the opportunity to provide a living legacy to Columbia by planning for a future gift in your will or estate plan. Gifts to this plan will provide financial stability to Columbia for years to come.
Oversight of the Legacy Fund is the responsibility of the Board of Directors. When the Fund reaches $250,000 the Board may direct the earnings to programs or services that enhance the lives of those we serve. The suggested minimum donation is $5,000. The assets in the Fund are professionally managed and maintained separately from other assets held by Columbia.
