Join Our Team as an RN Charge Nurse!
Position: RN Charge Nurse
Location: 4700 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98103 (near the Woodland Park Zoo and Greenlake)
Compensation: $47.91 to $53.23 depending on years of experience in a SNF setting.
Pay: $3.00/hour shift differential for night and weekend shifts!
Shifts: We have NOC (10:30 pm to 7 am) and Evening (2:30 pm to 11 pm) shifts available. All RNs work the following schedule: 4 on, 2 off; 4 on, 1 off; 3 on, 3 off; 3 on, 1 off. Using this schedule allows all RNs to have a three days weekend off every three weeks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide medications and treatments
- Evaluate residents for changes in condition
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients
- Accurately document care provided
- Supervise Nursing Assistants
- Collaborate in developing residents’ care plans
Qualifications:
- Two years nursing experience required
- Washington state RN license
- Outstanding communication and supervisory skills
- Ability to type and use electronic medical records
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Join Our Caring Team as a Nursing Assistant!
Position: Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) / Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC)
Location: Columbia Lutheran Home, Seattle
Pay: $25.44 to $27.75 per hour, dependent upon credential (NAR or NAC) and years of experience in a SNF.
Full time NAR / NAC work a rotating schedule of 4 on and 2 off, which means that the work days and the days off change each week. We do not offer any shifts that only work certain days.

Schedule:
- Full-time and Per Diem positions available
- 4 on / 2 off schedule with 8-hour shifts
- AM Shift – 6:30 am to 3 pm or PM Shift – 2:30 pm to 11 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities (dressing, AM/PM care, meal delivery, turning, and ambulating)
- Support nurses and other staff as needed
- Report changes in resident condition and behavior
- Please note: No false nails allowed
Qualifications:
- Certified (NAC) or Registered (NAR) Nursing Assistant
- If you’re a NAR, you must have recently completed a Nursing Assistant Training Course. We offer the required 40 clinical hours for recent graduates (minimum 6-month commitment required). Must attain NAC within 120 days of hire.

Job Posting: Unit Coordinator
Pay: $23.57 to $26.60 depending on years of experience in a similar position
Position Summary
Columbia Lutheran Home is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Unit Coordinator to support our nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care. In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day coordination, documentation, and administrative functions related to resident services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and provides excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
This position works 8:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare charts and required documentation for new admissions, re-admissions, and discharges
- Accurately record medical and administrative information in a timely manner
- Coordinate and communicate resident appointments with nursing staff
- Escort residents to medical appointments as needed
- Ensure proper resident identification (records, wristbands, ID cards, etc.)
- Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic services appointments
- Forward completed charts for discharged residents to the Medical Records Department
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents, families, and visitors
- Follow all safety regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a multi-tasked, detail-oriented environment
- Proficiency with standard office equipment (computer, multi-line phone, fax, copier)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population
Preferred:
- NAC (Nursing Assistant Certified) certification
- Previous experience as a unit secretary or similar healthcare role
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and perform repetitive motions
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fingering, and handling
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
Work Environment
- Primarily performed in a resident care setting
- May require occasional travel; employee must provide personal transportation and maintain proof of insurance
